Insiders’ April Roundup!
sharing the best Insider moments
Hello! Vikra here 👋
A month ago, we launched our public community on March 25th to help writers, creators, and freelancers become great at their craft.
Today, we have decided to publish a community roundup post, sharing the best moments from the community throughout the month.
We will experiment with this format for a couple of months (on the first of every month) and if you like it, we will make it a routine.
There is no fixed format to this (read: I have no clue how to approach this—never done this before). I will share the best moments randomly, and we will take it from there.
Uhmm, where do I start?
We have successfully posted every day
Community-only content is one of our unique value offerings. I have noticed most communities work impromptu (which I am a big fan of), but I also believe communities should have structured learning systems.
…especially when you’re talking up the responsibility of helping folks get better.
There will be many impromptu conversations and knowledge-sharing, but we are creating a month’s content ahead, so you get guaranteed learning every day.
Best part? It’s different each day.
These range from writing prompts to discussions on popular techniques to learning from businesses around us to sharing resources to Cognition archives and whatnot.
Our calendar for May is set. We are excited 😻
Before I share more gossip from the community, say hi to our sponsor!!
“I want to build an email course”
Top creators like Jay Clouse are leveraging the unique benefits of email-based courses to create demand, develop relationships, and convert customers.
Learn from an expert (whose first email course business was acquired) on how to do email courses the right way.

Bonding with Insiders
Everybody’s new in the community. No one really knows anyone because the members come from two different platforms: LinkedIn and X. One of my first goals was to make everyone comfortable and hopefully bond over a conversation.
We thought, “What bonds Indians more than movies and sports?” and hosted our first-ever Movie Night! We screened Into the Wild and spent some time talking to each other afterward.
I am a huge proponent of communities having fun together alongside learning - and that’s why we encourage movie nights and have a separate channel called Chillzone.
Fun and all is okay, but how do we help you?
I am really really, like reaaaaaaaaally proud of the prompts I give to our community members. These are not ‘Oh-I-Have-Seen-This-Before‘ or AI-generated prompts.
I design all the prompts myself and deliberately make it challenging so you push your limits.
…and what’s more satisfying than designing these prompts? Our members working on the prompts and creating a strong proof of work!
You should really check out Aastha’s copy!!
We gave this prompt:
…and Aastha came up with this top-notch stuff! She even went a step ahead to design the notifications.
Celebrating Goals and Wins!!
We are building a culture to encourage goal-sharing and celebrate personal and professional wins, irrespective of the scale.
Sometimes we celebrate little moments:
Sometimes, new beginnings!!
…and some things you’ve worked on for years
That’s all we have from April!
We are now a community of 72 members and if you find Insiders cool, 144 hands are wide open to welcome you with all the love.
